Buildings

Every building with the cost of its first level, how fast that cost grows and how high it can go.

Every building costs more at every level. The table lists what the first level costs and the cost growth: each further level costs the previous one times that growth.

Where to start

The Metal Mine, the Crystal Mine and the Deuterium Refinery produce your resources, and the Solar Power plant pays for their energy. The Robot Factory, and later the Nanite Factory, shorten every build time on their planet. Getting started walks through the first hour.

Fields

Every building level takes one field of its planet. Your home planet starts with 163; a colony's size depends on its position. The Terraformer adds fields to a planet, and a moon gains them from its Moon base.

A planet can also take fields bought with dark matter, one pack at a time (Dark matter services).

Particle Accelerator

The Particle Accelerator is built on moons only, once their Moon base reaches level 5. It charges dark matter every hour, more with every level, and stops charging after 24 hours. Collecting on its page turns the charge into dark matter and burns 400 deuterium stored on that moon for every dark matter, so ship deuterium to the moon first. An account collects at most 2,000 dark matter a day, however many moons it has.

Questions

How much does the next level cost?

Each level costs the previous one times the cost growth in the table, so a building gets steadily more expensive.

Why do buildings take longer to build over time?

The build time follows the cost. Robot and nanite factories shorten it for every building on their planet.
