Dark matter services
What dark matter buys besides officers and boosts: finishing a queue at once, an extra planet slot, more fields for a planet and moving a whole fleet.
Dark matter pays for officers, boosts and the services below. Each one exists only while this universe runs it.
Dark matter from antimatter
On the Antimatter page every antimatter turns into 10 dark matter (Antimatter).
Finish a queue at once
The running building, research or shipyard order can be finished at once for 100 dark matter plus 50 for every minute it still has to run, a started minute counting as a whole one.
No finish costs more than 25,000 dark matter.
A shipyard order cannot be finished at once while an attack or a missile attack is on its way to you.
An extra planet slot
Once you have as many planets as your research allows, you can buy one more slot for 60,000 dark matter, up to 5 times.
Each further slot costs 30,000 more than the one before.
More fields for a planet
On the More fields page you buy building fields for the planet you are on, 5 at a time. The first pack costs 20,000 dark matter, each further pack for the same planet costs 150% of the one before, and a planet takes at most 8 packs. Moons get their fields from the Moon base instead. Bought fields belong to their planet: they are lost with it and when a season ends.
Dark matter from deuterium
A Particle Accelerator on a moon charges dark matter over time. Collecting it burns 400 deuterium stored on that moon for every dark matter, and an account collects at most 2,000 dark matter a day (Buildings).
Artifacts in the premium shop
Some artifacts are sold for antimatter in the premium shop; Stash and containers lists them with their prices.
Questions
How do I get dark matter?
From the daily rewards, expeditions, achievements and the other sources this guide lists.
Do I need these services to do well?
No. They save time; mines, research and fleets decide a universe.
