Universes differ in speed, age and the systems they run. Compare them side by side and pick the one that fits your time.

Every universe is its own galaxy with its own economy and politics; they share only your account. Right now there are 1:

Speed

Build speed shortens construction and research, fleet speed shortens flights and resources multiplies what the mines produce. A fast universe rewards players who check in often; a slow one rewards planning. A faster universe is not more work: everything simply happens sooner.

Age and population

A new universe has empty galaxies and no settled alliances, so everyone starts even. An older one has neighbours who already know each other, and more targets and more allies. A universe whose registration is closed still lets its own players in.

Systems

Each universe decides which systems it runs: hunts, factions, pirate bases, the stash and more. A guide page about a system shows the numbers of the universe you pick at the top of the page, and says so when that universe does not run it.

Compare and choose

The universe lobby shows every universe side by side, with its debris, galaxies, events and who it suits, and picks the ones that fit the way you play.

Questions

Can I play in more than one universe?

Yes. Your account has one commander in each universe you join, with their own planets and research, and you switch between them from the account page.

Can I move my empire to another universe?

No. Every universe is its own world, and a new commander starts from one planet.
