The bank keeps metal, crystal and deuterium off your planets: a deposit costs dark matter, taking resources out is free.
The bank is a vault for your metal, crystal and deuterium in this universe. What you keep there is on none of your planets, so no attack can take it.
Deposits
You deposit from the planet or moon you are on, any amount it holds. Every deposit costs 1,000 dark matter, however much it moves, so a few large deposits cost less than many small ones.
Withdrawals
You take resources out to the planet or moon you are on, for free, as much as the bank holds. They land at once, even beyond the planet's storage.
Neither works while your account is in vacation mode.
Questions
Does taking resources out cost anything?
No. Only a deposit costs dark matter; a withdrawal is free.
Is there a limit to what the bank holds?
No. You can deposit as much as the planet you are on holds.
Can someone else use my bank?
No. Your bank belongs to your commander alone.
